"nice to meet you"
Hi, my name is Sadie (not Clementine) and I am the owner and baker of Clementine Cupcake Company. I must confess that I actually have no culinary training or background, but I do have a major sweettooth! My primary focus is being a mom to my son Asher and my daughter Alaska. After baking cupcakes for my son's first birthday party in the summer of 2008, then getting such an amazing response and demand for them, I decided to turn my love of cupcakes into a creative outlet and share the love! Clementine Cupcake Company has been providing fresh to order, made from scratch organic cupcakes ever since. I do bake (and frost and deliver and set-up displays) by myself without employees or assistants so thank you for understanding if I am already booked when you want to order or if I need to limit your flavor choices due to other orders scheduled.
We do not have a storefront location but you can find my cupcakes featured at Amsterdam Coffee House and my cookies featured at General Store Paso Robles. These are the only places you can find a Clementine cupcake or cookie for individual purchase. If you use Facebook click on the link below to get updates on the company, special offers, and the delivery schedule.
Why the name Clementine? Well, a clementine (mandarin orange) is said to be "small, sweet, and popular with kids". I thought that described a cupcake perfectly as well. I hope that my logo invokes not only a clementine but also the swirl of the frosting as you look down on one of my cupcakes. Thanks for visiting. If you would like to contact me for more information please email to firstname.lastname@example.org
Clementine Cupcake Company was featured in both Better Homes and Gardens and Mixing Bowl magazines in the summer of 2009 for winning the "Calling All Cupcakes" contest!
